Nonseparable CCR algebras

چکیده
Extending a result of the first author and Katsura, we prove that for every UHF algebra [Formula: see text] infinite type, in uncountable cardinality there are nonisomorphic approximately matricial C*-algebras with same group as text]. These algebras “twisted” by prescribed canonical commutation relations (CCR), they can also be considered nonseparable generalizations noncommutative tori.

Graphs and Ccr Algebras
I introduce yet another way to associate a C*-algebra to a graph and construct a simple nuclear C*-algebra that has irreducible representations both on a separable and a nonseparable Hilbert space. Kishimoto, Ozawa and Sakai have proved in [8] that the pure state space of every separable simple C*-algebra is homogeneous in the sense that for every two pure states φ and ψ there is an automorphis...
متن کاملDiscretized Ccr Algebras
We discuss how the canonical commutation relations must be modified in order to make appropriate numerical models of quantum systems. The C∗-algebras associated with the discretized CCRs are the non-commutative spheres of Bratteli, Elliott, Evans and Kishimoto. 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification. For every uncountable cardinal κ there are 2 nonisomorphic simple AF algebras of density character κ and 2 nonisomorphic hyperfinite II1 factors of density character κ. These estimates are maximal possible. All C*-algebras that we construct have the same Elliott invariant and Cuntz semigroup as the CAR algebra.
متن کاملMarkov triplets on CCR-algebras
The paper contains a detailed computation about the algebra of canonical commutation relation, the representation of the Weyl unitaries, the quasi-free states and their von Neumann entropy. The Markov triplet is de ned by constant entropy increase. The Markov property of a quasi-free state is described by the representing block matrix. The proof is based on results on the statistical su ciency ...
متن کاملNonseparable Uhf Algebras I: Dixmier’s Problem
There are three natural ways to define UHF (uniformly hyperfinite) C*-algebras, and all three definitions are equivalent for separable algebras. In 1967 Dixmier asked whether the three definitions remain equivalent for not necessarily separable algebras. We give a complete answer to this question. More precisely, we show that in small cardinality two definitions remain equivalent, and give coun...
